AIM OF AYURVEDA

The aim of ayurveda is not only healing the sick, but the prevention of illness and preservation of life. The Ayurvedic theory of creation discusses factors that are interlinked, including;the body, the mind, the soul, the 5 elements. These factors are complementary to each other, and are equally important in every person. Aurveda is a "holistic" system of medicine, which means that it treats the person as a whole, not as a group of individual parts. Ayurveda is aimed to treat the mind, body and soul.
